May - September Flight Season

At AirHound Adventures, your safety and enjoyment are always our highest priorities. To best ensure the most favorable and predictable weather conditions for your hot air balloon adventure, we will be adjusting our flight season to run from May through September, effective this year.

This decision has been made to align our flights with the months that historically offer the most stable and reliable weather patterns. While we strive to provide unforgettable experiences year-round, recent and anticipated limitations in the availability and reliability of key upper-air weather data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration necessitate this change. This data is crucial for accurate forecasting, and by focusing our operations on the May-September window, we can maximize the likelihood of safe and enjoyable flights for all our passengers.

Furthermore, with these recent changes with NOAA, we have discontinued our Winter Waitlist. We understand these may be changes for some, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize your well-being above all else. We are excited to welcome you aboard during our new flight season and look forward to sharing the breathtaking views with you!
